For Christmas food done better this year, speak to your local butcher. Of course, we mean us.
When you buy your festive produce from Lakings, you’re supporting a family business with 110 years of craft butchery skills passed down through the generations.
And you support our ethos around farming, sustainability, caretaking the environment and animal welfare that sets us apart from the supermarket chains attempting to dominate the industry.
We care about our customers too. We strive to make every order leaving our premises in the bustling market town of Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds, perfect and the 729 Trust Pilot reviews (with 97 per cent of those being four stars or above) demonstrate just how highly our service and products are rated.
Our Christmas shop is open and stocked with everything you need for a fabulous festive feast – even those last-minute items! From easy-to-roast boneless turkey breast joints to roast beef joints, grass-fed lamb and prime Lincolnshire pork.
Equally, we can help to pull off an incredible buffet – because after all, who doesn’t love a ‘picky tea’ and watching a festive movie once the main event of Christmas dinner is over?
Whether you need a pork pie to go with your pickled onions or still need to buy the full works – the turkey, pigs in blankets and Christmas pudding – you can find everything you need in our Christmas shop.
Wherever you are in the country, our next-day temperature-controlled delivery service is so convenient. It allows you to select your delivery day and your DPD driver will update you via mobile phone with a delivery time, so you don’t need to wait at home all day. But, to make sure you know exactly when and where you can get your hands on Lakings produce, here’s a reminder of our opening hours and when delivery begins again.
Online delivery service for new orders over the festive period has now closed, with online orders opening once again for delivery on January 6th.

New Year’s Eve parties and New Year’s Day dining
Somehow, even though you think you can’t possibly fit another morsel in after Christmas Dinner – by New Year’s Eve, thoughts turn once again to all things food.
Whether you’re hosting a dinner party, planning to cater a buffet or just having a quiet night in with a few drinks and the fireworks on the TV at midnight, we can help to make your New Year’s celebrations a special event.
Planning to put on a buffet? Shop our pantry items: we have everything from sausage rolls and quiches to pickles, roast ham and pork pies.
Or perhaps you’re planning a sophisticated sit-down dinner? Impress guests with a delicious Beef Wellington. Our individual portions are created with strips of our finest dry-aged fillet steak, sliced mushrooms, brandy, and herb pate wrapped in our traditional, homemade puff pastry. Or, of course, you can make your own using our deliciously luxurious Chateaubriand of beef.
For New Year’s Day, which falls on a Sunday no less, we can advise on which delicious cut works best for the first roast of the year – choose from Lincolnshire pork, grass-fed lamb, whole grain-fed chicken and our prime beef.
Or if you’ve simply had enough of cooking elaborate meals, we’re open for all your basics, from chicken breasts to mince beef.
