This year has been one full of flavour here at Lakings, something we can give Chef Ambassador Rosie Dicker and her recipe collection credit for.

And much like our customers, the team here at Lakings all have their favourites from our recipe back catalogue. Take some inspiration from our favourites, and try some new ideas this season.

Steak Sandwich

Quick, indulgent, and perfect for Friday nights after a busy week. This dish feels like a real treat without taking hours in the kitchen – just good-quality beef, seared properly, and layered with a few simple extras. It’s the kind of dish you can throw together in 20 minutes, but still sit down and enjoy as if you’ve gone out for a meal. It’s the definition of fuss-free comfort food. Follow our Steak Sandwich recipe and grab a Sirloin Steak to make it.

Baked Chicken Parmesan

This one is always a big hit, especially with kids. It’s the combination of crispy chicken, tangy tomato sauce, and melted cheese that makes it irresistible – and it feels hearty without being too heavy. It’s also one of those recipes that looks impressive on the plate but is surprisingly straightforward, which makes it perfect for a midweek dinner. When everyone’s tired and hungry, it always puts a smile on faces. Get the recipe here: Baked Chicken Parmesan, and pick up some Chicken Fillets.

Beef Stroganoff

A go-to dish when you’ve got friends or family coming over. It’s rich and creamy, full of flavour, and it never fails to impress, but it’s not overly complicated to make. Serve it with rice or tagliatelle and plenty of fresh parsley. The best bit is how tender the beef becomes – it just soaks up all that lovely sauce. It’s a recipe we go back to time and time again, and it always delivers. Our Beef Stroganoff recipe works beautifully with Beef Strips, bringing tender texture and full flavour to the dish.
