This time last year, we were on the brink of going into a national lockdown as coronavirus began to impact on every area of our lives. It is fair to say, the last 12 months have been some of the most challenging in living memory, for both individuals and businesses alike.
Which is why the timing and message of National Butchers’ Week 2021 is especially pertinent. Taking place from March 8-14, the week-long event will shine a light on the hard work done by butchers during the last 12 months.
Here at Lakings, we have strived to remain at the heart of our community during these unprecedented times. Operating from our shop in Eastgate, Louth for more than 100 years our business has evolved through the ages by adapting to various national and world crises during more than a century of trading.
So, it is no accident that customers have continued to step through our doors as well as place orders via our website as we have all adjusted to a ‘new normal’.
