Lamb Shank

Possibly the ultimate comfort food, shanks are an old-fashioned cut that are simple to cook while delivering impressive results. We’d recommend simply browning in a pan to then braise slowly in red wine with root vegetables. The sweet and tender meat simply falls off the bone. Serve one per person, with heaps of mashed potato.
