Frenetically rushing around the shops to find everything you need to create a festive feast is just extra stress none of us needs. Imagine how it would feel to know your Christmas food order is placed and the delivery slot secured, leaving just a few presents to wrap before you can relax into the season of joy.

We can help by delivering Christmas to your door. No stress, no fuss. Simply log onto our website shop (or pop into our store in the bustling market town of Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds) and let us take the strain.

Getting organised in plenty of time also helps to spread the cost, enabling you to budget more easily.  Our online Christmas butcher shop is stocked with festive essentials, including our delicious Boneless Turkey Breast joint.

Removed from the bone and wrapped in dry-cured streaky bacon, these joints are perfect if you don’t want to cook a full bird. For many, Christmas dinner is THE food event of the entire year but with people keeping an eye on the purse strings and growing awareness around food waste, it helps to calculate what size joint will work best for your family.

Our boneless breast joints are sold in several weights, from 1kg (which should feed a family of four) up to 5kg joints which will cater for around 15-16 people. Our 2kg boneless joints are priced at £37.90, which, for a family of eight works out at just under £5 per head.

When it comes to oven temperatures and timings, roast turkey breast has the same requirements as a whole roast turkey. So, at a temperature of 190C/170C fan/gas 5, you’ll need to cook it for 40 mins per kilo, plus an additional 20 mins, and don’t forget to let the meat rest before carving.

Being such a versatile option, you could also wrap the turkey breast in puff pastry to make a show-stopping Turkey Wellington.

For a stress-free, economical option, you can even roast a small joint (1kg) in a slow cooker. You’ll need to cook the turkey breast on low for five to six hours in approximately 300ml of stock until it reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees. Use a meat thermometer to check. For crispy skin, finish off in an oven (we’re assuming you’ll be making roasties) for 10-15 minutes, and allow to stand for 20 minutes before carving for succulent slices of turkey. Use the cooking juices from the turkey to make your gravy.

Our online Christmas shop is open, here you find all the festive essentials from pigs in blankets, to mince pies, cranberry sauce, gammon for the ultimate roast ham, pork pies, ready-to-bake sausage rolls made with our traditional Lincolnshire sausage meat, ready-made turkey gravy and delicious rib of beef or luxurious chateaubriand.

And if you’re looking for recipe inspiration, from how to cook the perfect turkey to red cabbage as a side, don’t forget to check out our section of festive meal ideas from chef Rosie Dicker.

Because our produce is always fresh, order now and pop everything in the freezer. Our next-day temperature-controlled delivery service allows you to select your delivery day and your DPD driver will update you via mobile phone with a delivery time so you don’t need to wait at home all day.

Add to that our satisfaction guarantee and you’ll have everything you need to create an incredible family feast this Christmas and none of that last-minute stress.
